Eaton's FFD Fluid Filtration Division is seeking a Technical Service Specialist to serve as a key product knowledge resource for sales, customer service, and project coordination. The role involves developing techno-commercial proposal packages, evaluating commercial and technical requirements, and providing product knowledge to internal and external partners.
Requirements
- Serve as a key technical resource supporting the North America and global sales teams, distributors, and product end users with accurate product and application knowledge.
- Develop and produce professional techno-commercial proposal packages for standard and configurable Filtration product lines.
- Evaluate commercial and technical requirements of requests for proposal, advising customer of conflicts and making recommendations for changes.
- Review incoming project orders and transmit them to the engineering and project coordination teams.
- Assist in facilitating in-house and field training on filter sizing, pricing, application, and function to help in the development of market channels' filter system knowledge.
- Maintain current market knowledge and other job skills through participation in field study, internal and external educational opportunities, and industry affiliations.
- Provide feedback to the engineering and sales team to support new product and market development.
- Assist the marketing and pricing teams in development and maintenance of product literature and price guides.
- Analyze data and prepare quarterly reports on product line sales performance.
- Participate in periodic ad-hoc projects in support of sales, marketing, and operations goals.
- Engage in intradepartmental learning and cross-training to broaden product knowledge.
- Support the customer service team by responding to customer phone calls and emails as needed.
