Master Designer (COD) Arden, NC

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Master Designer (COD) Arden, NC. The expected annual salary range for this role is $69000 - $101000 a year. The primary function of the Customer Order Designer (COD) is to provide either mechanical design or electrical design and documentation support for our electrical switchgear and control products.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in an Engineering Technology or Electronics field with at least two (2) years relevant experience with electrical distribution or control products design
• OR a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other 3D engineering and design software programs
• Understanding and application of drafting standards and techniques (using computer-aided engineering software)
• Capability to visualize components, features and assemblies in three-dimensional space
• Ability to use required engineering software tools and other common computer software (word processing, e-mail, spreadsheets, etc.)
• Prior work experience with electrical distribution and control products and demonstratable knowledge on the interpretation of complex design documentation
