Machinist A 2nd shift

Eaton’s IS AER FMC division is currently seeking a Machinist A 2nd shift. The hourly range for this position is range $30.40 - $45.60 per hour. The LA facility has approximately 250 employees and is a leader in the design, development, manufacture and delivery of Aerospace hydraulic components, systems and services to the global aftermarket and OEM markets.

Requirements

• Capability to setup complex parts and operate machine without supervision.
• Interprets plans, work order, blueprints or drawings to determine the necessary work required, full understanding of GD&T.
• Inspects parts for quality and appropriate tolerance using the appropriate measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, air gages and comparators.
• Finishes all parts with different materials to close tolerance without supervision.
• Examines surface of work piece for defects before starting work.
• Must meet production and quality requirements at all times, always keep work area clean.
• Ability to modify machining feed and speeds on multiple material types and select tooling, gauges as/if required.
• Uses measuring tools, air gauges, micrometers and other inspection tools to verify part quality.
• Replaces worn tools, inspect parts and adjust tool offsets as needed.
• Must be a team player and follow all safety rules and regulations.
