Job Description
The Lead Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for process improvements for all manufacturing processes, with a focus on material efficiency, ergonomics, and product quality. The role will work with production teams to identify specific improvement projects, analyze impact on material/labor cost, product quality, and employee safety, and provide technical support for improvement projects from the initial research stage to implementation in production.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
- Three (3) years of relevant engineering experience, working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Must be able to be on the plant floor frequently, and remain standing for long periods of time to perform testing, prototyping, machine run off for new equipment, and new process implementation.
- Must be able to comply with all required safety policies and wear the appropriate personal protection equipment.
