The Electrical Test Assembler II will build sub-assemblies and assemblies involving complex and repetitive wiring for Uninterruptible Power Systems (UPS).
Requirements
- Perform assembly, complex and repetitive wiring, and/or UPS operation to complete final assembly of the product.
- Setup equipment and tools for assembly.
- Work on blueprints, engineering drawings, bills of material, and wire charts of complex nature to establish procedures and incorporate engineering change notices into assembly as required.
- Determine assembly methods based upon deadlines, part availability, and engineering specifications and evaluate assembly problems to recommend and implement corrective actions.
- Visual inspections of material before and after assembly.
- Use various fixtures, gauges, hand tools and power tools to assemble, adjust, or repair product.
- Inspect completed assemblies to ensure compliance with Raleigh Plant Quality standards and make necessary adjustments when required in order to meet quality goals.
- Adhere to environmental, health, safety rules and regulations and provide process and safety improvement ideas.
- Ensure machines and tools are properly calibrated and perform housekeeping duties as necessary using the principles of 5S+.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
