Job Description
We are a K-8 program seeking a Dance Activity Specialist to engage students in dynamic lessons and cultivate skills through interactive sessions. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of teaching or career experience in Dance/Performing Arts, an Associates Degree or 60 college credits, and experience working with diverse populations.
Requirements
- At least 2 years teaching or career experience in Dance/Performing Arts
- Associates Degree or at least 60 college credits
- Experience working with diverse populations (academic, cultural, and ethnic)
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Google and/or Microsoft suite competency (Word, Power Point, Email, etc)
- At least 1 year experience in creating and implementing lesson plans around an end-of-term project or performance (project-based learning)
