Job Description
Join EAC Network as a Part-Time Peer Mentor to support clients in the Suffolk County Judicial Diversion Program, fostering positive relationships and facilitating group discussions. The ideal candidate has good communication skills, OASAS/OMH Peer Specialist Certification or equivalent, and experience working with target populations. EAC Network is a leading not-for-profit social service agency with 100 impactful programs across Long Island and NYC.
Requirements
- Participate in planning for services for clients
- Assist program participants in completing required assignments
- Meet with clients on an on-going, as needed basis
- Recruit, engage and train peer volunteers to provide support for the clients
- Maintain client charts and notes
