Mechanical Engineer

The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of engineering projects. This role involves evaluating designs, improving production processes, writing instructions, and collaborating with production teams. They also contribute to research and customer interface. The position requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or construction environment is preferred
• Ability to communicate bilingually is preferred
• Ability to function in a production environment and communicate comfortably with associates
• Ability to work independently with little management supervision
• Strong decision making and problem solving skills
• Prior experience with writing and implementing policies and procedures
• Excellent knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices
• Excellent report writing skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient with Windows and MS Office
• Experience with steel fabrication and terminology is a plus
