Job Description
Dutchie is a leading technology company specializing in cannabis retail and e-commerce, aiming to support the industry through wellness, social justice, and tax revenue. They are seeking an experienced Staff Software Engineer to drive the development of pricing and discount features, focusing on building robust backend systems and optimizing complex business rules. The role requires a strong understanding of system scalability, performance optimization, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack application development.
- Extensive experience building complex business logic, calculation engines, and transactional systems.
- Solid experience with modern frontend development using React.
- Strong proficiency with database technologies and SQL.
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
- Experience with pricing systems, e-commerce platforms, discount engines, or similar.
- Strong understanding of system scalability, performance optimization, and reliability patterns.
