Swiss CNC Setup Operator

The Swiss CNC Setup Operator will set up and operate 2 spindle CNC machines to create parts from blueprints. This role involves inspecting parts, checking conformance to specifications using measuring instruments, and loading materials into machines. The position requires accurate measurement, knowledge of tooling, and adherence to setup sheets.

Requirements

• 3-5 years CNC experience
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Advanced blueprint reading skills
• Advanced computer skills
• Basic math and reading skills
• Knowledge of tooling
• Knowledge of gages
• 0-1” micrometers, depth micrometers, comparators, drop indicators, dial/plug gages, profilometers and height gages
• Knowledge of tool layouts and inserts
• Ability to follow setup sheets
• Ability to adjust and change spindle liners
• Knowledge of SPC and Vantage
