Job Description
Duolingo is seeking a Director of Learning Design for Language Learning to set the pedagogical vision and execution strategy for their language learning experiences, driving impact, curriculum quality, and innovation. This role involves leading a team, partnering with product and design, and experimenting with A/B tests to improve learner outcomes. The position is based in Pittsburgh.
Requirements
- 5+ years leading teams, 10+ years experience in language learning design.
- Graduate degree in Linguistics or related field.
- Strong understanding of the learning science and language teaching methodologies.
- Experience with large-scale content operations and quality assurance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
