The Librarian is responsible for developing, implementing, and promoting the school library program within the Duchesne community.
Requirements
- Master's degree from a program accredited by the American Library Association (ALA) or from a master's level program in library and information studies
- High level of competence using technology
- Experience in a PreK – 12 environments, preferably in independent schools
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to make independent decisions and maintain confidentiality
- Affinity for working with children and families in an educational setting
- Ability to maintain accurate records
- Strong people skills to be empathetic to children’s and parent’s needs
