As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at DTEX Systems, you will play a critical role in driving pipeline growth for our insider risk and data protection solutions.
Requirements
- 1+ year in a BDR/SDR role (cybersecurity experience a plus)
- Outbound Prospecting Expertise: Comfortable with cold calling, email outreach, and social selling
- Inbound Lead Handling: Ability to quickly qualify and convert marketing-generated leads
- Tools Proficiency: Experience with Outreach.io, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and Salesforce
- Research & Personalization: Skilled at account research and crafting tailored messaging
- Strong Communication: Clear, concise verbal and written skills
- Objection Handling: Ability to use frameworks like ART (Acknowledge, Respond, Transition) on your calls and meetings with prospects
- Curiosity & Coachability: Eager to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Resilience: Comfortable with high-volume outreach and rejection
- Cybersecurity Basics: Understanding of insider risk, data loss prevention, and compliance concepts
- Business Acumen: Ability to identify pain points and align DTEX’s value proposition
- Account-Based Selling: Familiarity with targeting enterprise accounts and multi-threading
- Proven ability to hit KPIs: activity metrics, meetings booked and qualified, and pipeline contribution
- Experience working closely with Sales and Marketing teams for campaign execution
