Data Engineering Manager

Doximity is transforming the healthcare industry. As a Data Engineering Manager, you will collaborate with product managers, data analysts, and machine learning engineers to develop pipelines and ETL tasks, establish data architecture processes, and manage individual Data Engineers to foster learning and growth.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of industry experience as a data engineer or similar role
• Experience in creating automated testing, applying design patterns, and other engineering best practices
• Expertise in Python, SQL, and data pipelines
• Experience managing 3 or more people as a People Manager
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical people
• Ability to lead projects from idea generation to planning, execution, and delivery
• Working knowledge of ML/AI applications and their deployment and monitoring
• Collaboration with product managers, data analysts, and machine learning engineers
• Establishing data architecture processes and practices
• Managing individual Data Engineers
