DOWL is a top-ranked, multi-disciplined consulting firm seeking a Bridge & Structures Designer (Entry level/early career professional) to join our team in Billings, MT. As a Bridge & Structures Designer, you'll gain hands-on experience in structural design and analysis under the guidance of experienced, licensed engineers.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of engineering fundamentals
• Performs basic design tasks with oversight
• Basic understanding of technical writing skills
• Clear internal communications (emails, meeting minutes, etc.)
• Teamwork
• Basic understanding of scope, schedules, and budgets for simple tasks
• Basic understanding of standard design codes (AASHTO, ACI, AISC, etc.)
• EIT/EI required (within 6 months of hire)
• Driving is an essential job function or a valid driver’s license is required to support legitimate business purposes
