Responsible for providing assistance to special education teachers; assists in the instruction, medical, and health needs of special education students; provides some clerical support; may provide assistance with a variety of daily functions such as behavior support as well as life skills instruction.
Requirements
- Experience in an educational environment preferred
- Verbal and written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions
- Computer skills word processing; database and spreadsheets
