Senior Cybersecurity Analyst

DOT Security is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to lead the investigation of real-time alerts, conduct forensic analysis, and drive threat-hunting initiatives within their SOC. The role involves both hands-on expertise and mentorship, focusing on proactively hunting advanced threats and enhancing cybersecurity posture for clients. This is a full-time, on-site position in a state-of-the-art SOC facility.

Requirements

• Lead investigation of alerts from SIEM and other security tools
• Perform in-depth forensic analysis of firewall logs and IDS/IPS alerts
• Correlate information to detect APTs, assess risk, and author incident reports
• Drive threat-hunting initiatives based on intelligence feeds
• Identify and assess indicators of compromise (IOCs)
• Perform in-depth investigations of phishing campaigns and zero-day exploitation
• Collaborate with threat intelligence teams
• Refine and execute incident response playbooks
• Tune security toolsets to improve signal-to-noise ratios
• Design and maintain custom detection rules and alerting logic
