Job Description
Domtar is seeking an Industrial Millwright for their Atikokan Sawmill location in Ontario, Canada. This full-time permanent position is a part of a team focused on safety, sustainability, and operational excellence. The role involves manufacturing and maintenance of sawmill equipment, collaborating with production teams, and responding to production call-out requests.
Requirements
- Apply the required health and safety, environmental and quality procedures
- Collaborate with Production and Maintenance personnel with daily operation activities
- Utilize the Maintenance Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for processing work orders
- Perform preventive maintenance and carry out modification work on the various equipment
- Respond to production calls during downtime
- Improve, optimize and diagnose different control, artificial vision power and servo systems
- Communicate updates to supervisor to maintain goals
