Job Description
Dominion Energy is seeking a Staff Engineer for the Engineering series to provide support to boiler operations, air pollution control equipment, fuel handling, ash removal, and waste handling. The role requires strong technical expertise and project leadership in complex engineering projects, applying advanced knowledge to solve problems and manage technical/financial commitments for internal and external customers. This is a management consultant position in addition to an engineering role.
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant engineering experience (4-year degree as ABET accredited or equivalent)
- Engineering degree (Bachelor's or Master's) from a US engineering program accredited through the Washington Accord or a recognized institution
- Familiarity with advanced knowledge and technical skills for complex engineering problems related to fuel procurement, equipment inspection, and waste management
- Experience with the PJM dispatch cost calculations methodology
- Understanding of PJM dispatch cost calculations methodology
