Dock Supervisor - PT - $27.50/hr

Dohrn Transfer is seeking a Part Time Working Dock Supervisor at our Oak Creek, WI terminal. The position involves organizing the dock, providing paperwork for dockworkers, and overseeing loads to ensure trailers are being loaded correctly. Must be forklift certified and expected to work the floor.

Requirements

• Provide training, supervision, feedback, and discipline for dock team members
• Monitor Dock performance and efficiency and adjust manpower as needed
• Solve problems regarding lost and missing freight
• Communicate efficiently with other departments to ensure a successful operation
• Work in a safe and professional manner so as to reduce personal risks and risk to fellow employees
• Report all facility problems to the Facility Maintenance Department
• Comply with federal, state, and company regulations
• Process all paperwork daily associated with the execution of the job
• Work in a positive, supportive, and cooperative way at all times
• Perform other duties as needed
