Dock Supervisor-FT/ Starting Salary $65k

Dohrn Transfer is seeking a Full Time Working Dock Supervisor at our Indianapolis, IN terminal. The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• Provide training, supervision, feedback, and discipline for dock team members
• Monitor Dock performance and efficiency and adjust manpower as needed
• Solve problems regarding lost and missing freight
• Communicate efficiently with other departments to ensure a successful operation
• Work in a safe and professional manner so as to reduce personal risks and risk to fellow employees
• Report all facility problems to the Facility Maintenance Department
• Comply with federal, state, and company regulations
• Process all paperwork daily associated with the execution of the job
• Work in a positive, supportive, and cooperative way at all times
• Perform other duties as needed
