Job Description
The ROV Supervisor is responsible for leading the ROV team and equipment on board the vessel during their shift, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
Requirements
- Familiarity with company policies and procedures
- Leading the ROV team in safety matters
- Conducting safety meetings and inductions
- Being familiar with emergency procedures
- Issuing reports in emergency situations
- Leading the ROV team in emergency situations
- Orienting and instructing team members on equipment use
- Maintaining preventive maintenance of the system
- Directing tasks to team members according to their capacity
- Ensuring company procedures are available in the work environment
- Requesting spare parts and consumables according to company procedure
- Reviewing and suggesting improvements to the preventive maintenance system
- Informing the support team at the base
- Evaluating sea conditions for safe ROV operation
- Orienting the team on operational limitations
- Leading the team during operations in unfavorable environmental conditions
- Familiarizing themselves with company reports
- Producing clear and easily understandable reports
- Ensuring pilot logbooks are completed
- Discussing operations with the client and management
