Job Description
DNEG is seeking a Senior FX TD to create high-quality 3D assets for feature films using Houdini and custom tools. The role involves photorealistic effects like smoke, fire, and explosions, requiring detail-oriented skills and a solid understanding of physics-based simulation techniques. Candidates will need strong experience in live action VFX.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of high-end feature film VFX experience
- Proven experience in producing photorealistic effects (smoke, fire, clouds, water, steam, explosions, particle and voxel rendering)
- Familiarity with Houdini
- Familiarity with pipeline issues and problem solving
- Experience in live action FX work
- Good understanding of at least one node based compositing application (Nuke preferred)
- Strong understanding of Linux/Unix based operating systems
