Discord is seeking a Core Product Engineering Manager to lead a team of full-stack engineers, contributing to the development of features that enhance Discord's core experience and improve user engagement. The role involves collaborating with product, design, and data partners, and wearing many hats including coding, data analysis, and product strategy. Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
- 2+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager
- Strong product sense and customer understanding
- Experience with a product team with clear metrics goals
- Goal orientation and a drive to win
- Motivated to help team members succeed and grow
- Passion for getting hands-on with the product
- Bonus points for experience with social or messaging consumer products and React Native
