Job Description
The HIM Director plans, organizes, and manages all operations of Health Information Management (HIM) for the hospital, ensuring compliance with federal and state laws and regulations, and ensuring the integrity, completeness, and accuracy of medical records.
Requirements
- Graduate of an AHIMA accredited program with a Baccalaureate degree in Science and Medical Record Administration or higher
- Minimum of five years’ experience as an HIM Director in an acute care facility
- Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) required
