Mergers and Acquisitions Associate Attorney

Direct Counsel is seeking a Mergers and Acquisitions Mid-Level Associate Attorney to join a top-tier national law firm’s Corporate practice in its Chicago office. The ideal candidate will have 4–6 years of experience handling sophisticated mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions.

Requirements

• Representing private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, and strategic clients in a wide range of mergers and acquisitions transactions
• Drafting and negotiating acquisition and disposition agreements, including: Purchase agreements, Ancillary and transaction-related documents
• Advising clients throughout the full lifecycle of mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions
• Collaborating with cross-functional deal teams on complex corporate matters
