Job Description
Dillon is seeking a Junior Construction Observer in Windsor, ON to work with a multidisciplinary team on projects. The role involves on-site inspections, documentation, quality assurance, and ensuring compliance with regulations. This position offers an opportunity to learn, contribute, and collaborate on a dynamic construction site. As part of Dillon’s Civil Infrastructure technical group, the Junior Construction Observer will have a significant role in the client experience.
Requirements
- Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology (preferred)
- Proficient in reading engineering drawings and contract specifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Valid Canadian drivers’ license
- Experience in construction inspection (1-2 years preferred)
- Knowledge of municipal standards and regulatory requirements
- Knowledge of contract administration services
- Knowledge of municipal servicing standards
- Organizational skills and proficient use of Microsoft Office products
