Job Description
DigitalOcean is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join their core product engineering team in Hyderabad, India. The role involves architecting and building DO's shared services to run seamlessly on heterogeneous hardware and cloud environments.
Requirements
- Deep experience in building, operating, or consuming cloud products at major tech companies or hyperscalers
- Strong fundamentals in computer science, including distributed systems, networking, and algorithms
- Proficiency in languages like Go or Python
- A 'builder' mentality
- The ability to navigate ambiguity, own a problem end-to-end, and make pragmatic trade-offs to get things done
- Proven ability to influence senior technical leaders and drive complex projects forward in a fast-moving, global environment
