Software Development Engineer

We're building DigiCert's next-generation AI Security & Trust Infrastructure — a cloud-native platform that extends digital trust to AI models, agents, and software ecosystems. You'll build the core APIs and microservices that power this platform, working with a team to design and develop distributed systems that handle trust signals, identity validation, and real-time event processing.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience building cloud-native backend systems
• Strong proficiency in Go, Python, or Rust
• Experience designing distributed microservices with REST or GraphQL APIs
• Familiarity with streaming or messaging systems (Kafka, NATS, or Pub/Sub)
• Experience with Postgres, Redis, or NoSQL databases
• Understanding of Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD automation
• Knowledge of TLS, PKI, DNSSEC, or DANE is desirable
• Excellent debugging, performance tuning, and systems-thinking skills
• Excellent communication and system design documentation skills
