We are seeking a Private Bank - Operations Regulatory Expert - AVP to oversee regulatory reporting, conduct reviews, and ensure compliance with regulations in the APAC region. The role requires a minimum of 5-7 years of operations experience in the banking and financial sector.
Requirements
- Minimum 5-7 years of operations experience in the banking and financial sector
- Individuals will require transaction reporting and/or regulatory reporting experience
- Good understanding of HKMA / MAS / BaFin / EU (i.e. MIFIR) / US regulatory requirements
- Familiarity with the requirements under the Common Reporting Standards (CRS) / FATCA
- Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university
- Expert-level analytical skills, flexible regarding production problem solving
- Excellent communication skills. Fluent in English
- Displays a high degree of control awareness, attention to detail and focuses on providing quality output
- A strong team player and ability to work under pressure against tight timelines
- The ability to take ownership of process, escalation and client query management
- The ability to work in a fast-paced banking environment managing multiple priorities
- Open minded, able to share information with peers and stakeholders within division and across divisions and regions
