The Operations Technician is responsible for providing operational support, performing daily mechanical maintenance, and coordinating repairs and upkeep of mechanical systems at Comerica Park.
Requirements
- Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics
- Complete mechanical service requests
- Participate in on-call emergency rotation
- Operate, maintain, and repair facility equipment
- Monitor and maintain the safekeeping of mechanical tools, equipment, and supplies
- Document all maintenance activities and repairs
- Collaborate with contractors
- Maintain mechanical rooms, workshops, and storage areas
- Adhere to OSHA and other applicable safety codes
- Implement operational techniques to improve the efficiency of mechanical systems
- Report irregularities, discrepancies, equipment damage, or safety concerns
- Ensure proper stocking and inventory of mechanical supplies and spare parts
- Conduct full-building quality assurance checks
