Operations Technician

The Operations Technician is responsible for providing operational support, performing daily mechanical maintenance, and coordinating repairs and upkeep of mechanical systems at Comerica Park.

Requirements

• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics
• Complete mechanical service requests
• Participate in on-call emergency rotation
• Operate, maintain, and repair facility equipment
• Monitor and maintain the safekeeping of mechanical tools, equipment, and supplies
• Document all maintenance activities and repairs
• Collaborate with contractors
• Maintain mechanical rooms, workshops, and storage areas
• Adhere to OSHA and other applicable safety codes
• Implement operational techniques to improve the efficiency of mechanical systems
• Report irregularities, discrepancies, equipment damage, or safety concerns
• Ensure proper stocking and inventory of mechanical supplies and spare parts
• Conduct full-building quality assurance checks
