As a senior legal and regulatory compliance advisor, you will design, institute and coordinate the compliance framework and enforce related rules. You will lead development projects and strategic initiatives that are complex and innovative, and make recommendations on the planning and execution of operationally and conceptually complex projects and initiatives.
Requirements
- Lead specialized development projects, initiatives and activities that significantly impact the entire organization
- Design, update, implement and monitor complex action plans, programs, solutions and tools requiring comprehensive knowledge of legal and regulatory compliance
- Advise clients and partners to help them position, plan, develop, execute and monitor strategic projects and initiatives
- Identify, analyze and diagnose major issues and make recommendations to decision-making bodies
- Develop and update policies, standards, models and programs to support your unit's strategic projects and initiatives
- Offer legal and regulatory compliance programs to internal employees to promote our culture of ethics and compliance
- Represent your unit before decision-making bodies
- Represent Desjardins's position when making agreements with external partners and organizations
