Job Description
We are seeking an Experienced Software Engineer to help us deliver impactful solutions for our customers. You'll join the Descartes Finale team of 14 engineers distributed across North America, South America, and Western Europe. We ship code to production several times per day using continuous deployment and a strong test-driven development approach.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong understanding of software fundamentals
- Experience shipping code to production in a SaaS environment
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (our stack is JavaScript/MySQL, but we value fundamentals over specific tools)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, distributed team
- Comfortable learning new technologies as needed
