The Global Media Strategy Director role is focused on key global clients and reinforces the team's role as a strategic partner to their brand & media teams in developing future-facing strategic guidance, thought leadership, and best practices for a diverse subset of local markets.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of media & communications planning processes, as well as insight & planning tools
- Understanding of the role of media in delivering business value, combining both working knowledge of the key global platforms (i.e., Meta, Amazon, Google, TikTok, etc.) as well as the fundamentals of end-to-end communications planning
- Audience data and analytics knowledge to create audience profiles and actionable media performance insights
- Experience using first-, second-, and third-party sources to uncover meaningful trends and articulate actionable (audience) insight
- Delivering strategic thinking with a strong ability to communicate (verbal & written) strategic recommendations and innovative ideas with clarity
- Developing marketing and communications strategies for multi-market clients
- Working with day-to-day clients to advise on the strategic direction of their communications and its ability to deliver business value
- Local advanced market experience essential to build global solutions and advise markets successfully. Global experience is helpful (experience managing 15+ markets);
- Strong evidence of collaborative cross agency relationship management especially media and creative teams;
- Knowledge of tech- and innovation-led brands would be beneficial
