Accountant

Dennison Lubricants, Inc. is a family-run business looking for an enthusiastic Accountant to join their team. The Accountant will assist in managing the day-to-day aspects of the company's accounting functions, combining hands-on transaction management with higher-level oversight.

Requirements

• Financial Management
• Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including A/P, A/R, and general ledger.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, bank reconciliations, and management reports.
• Manage cash flow and bank reconciliations and monitor daily balances.
• Coordinate month-end closings and assist with the annual audit.
• Prepare and submit monthly sales tax returns
• Process & System Oversight
• Maintain and improve the accounting systems working with A/R and A/P clerks.
• Ensure accurate posting of vendor invoices, customer invoices, and payments.
• Streamline internal controls and implement efficient accounting workflows.
• Support integration of accounting with order entry, purchasing and warehouse systems.
