Job Description
Senior Network Automation Engineer to design and automate secure, large-scale DNS and network environments, with a strong focus on DoH/DoT, API-driven integrations, and GitOps practices.
Requirements
- Strong Linux + Networking background (5+ years), hands-on experience with TCP/IP, routing, iptables/ipsets.
- Advanced Ansible experience (3+ years), building idempotent roles, using Jinja2, dynamic inventory, and working with AWX/Tower.
- API-driven automation mindset, proven experience integrating external services (e.g., Cisco Umbrella / Cloud DNS) using Python and Ansible.
- Solid GitOps & CI/CD experience, working with GitHub/GitLab pipelines, code reviews, and controlled deployments.
- Practical DNS expertise, experience with DNS architecture (split-horizon, RPZ) and hands-on exposure to DoH/DoT implementations, including certificates and fallback strategies.
