The Bottling Maintenance Manager oversees all aspects of maintenance for the Manteca bottling operations, leading a team to ensure equipment and infrastructure are well maintained, championing continuous improvement initiatives, and providing strong organizational leadership.
Requirements
- Manage and monitor day-to-day operations and team performance
- Develop and align individual goals with the department's operational goals
- Research best practices and stay abreast of industry trends
- Assist in preparing the departmental budget and monitor spending
- Monitor performance and regularly communicate with direct reports
- Partner with immediate manager to determine staffing needs
- Provide employees with a safe, healthy, and rewarding work environment
- Foster a work environment that encourages creative thinking and promotes flexibility
- Address employee issues, concerns, and complaints in an objective and confidential manner
- Ensure compliance and consistent application of company policies, initiatives, and decisions
- Coach, guide, and develop direct reports
- Own all maintenance and sanitation Key Performance Indicators (KIP’s)
- Regularly update with Bottling Leadership Team to review Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE’s)
- Champion clear communication among teams, peers, and across departments
- Support and/or design/initiates capital expenditure requests
- Participate in Project Management and execution
- Enforce Safety, HACCP, ISO, cGMP, DOE, FSSC and other applicable business critical standards
- Manage inventory controls of all parts, machinery, and supplies
- Initiate weekly scheduling discussions to ensure efficient maintenance planning and scheduling
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in the bottling maintenance and production areas
