Job Description
Decagon is a conversational AI platform empowering brands to deliver concierge customer experience. They've experienced rapid growth and are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to build and operate production infrastructure for scalable systems. The ideal candidate will be a leader in infrastructure design and operation, focused on reliability, performance, and developer ergonomics.
Requirements
- Design and implement critical infrastructure services with strong SLOs, clear runbooks, and actionable telemetry.
- Partner with research and product teams to architect solutions and evaluate performance.
- Tune service latencies to achieve tight p95/p99s.
- Evolve CI/CD and tooling to improve developer velocity.
- Support deployment architectures with robust observability and upgrade paths.
- Lead infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and GitOps practices.
- Participate in on-call and drive down toil.
- Experience building and operating production infrastructure at scale.
