Principal Site Reliability Engineer

Dayshape is an award-winning software scale-up looking for a Principal Site Reliability Engineer to support the team with day-to-day operational and BAU workload. The role is focused on improving system stability, supporting production operations, and increasing delivery capacity across the team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, proven experience operating and supporting production systems in Microsoft Azure, and strong experience with Azure services such as App Services, VMs, networking, storage, and Azure SQL.

Requirements

• Significant experience as a Site Reliability Engineer at a Principal level
• Proven experience operating and supporting production systems in Microsoft Azure
• Strong experience with Azure services such as App Services, VMs, networking, storage, and Azure SQL
• Experience with Azure monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights)
• Comfortable setting technical direction with technical leads
• Experience with incident response and root cause analysis
• Experience supporting.NET applications and Azure SQL Server
