Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and driven Carpenter Foreman to lead our carpentry crew on commercial construction projects.
Requirements
- High level carpentry skills
- Competency in site and building layout and in the use of survey instruments accurately as is appropriate
- Competent in basic math, algebra, geometry, volumes and weights
- Skilled in the computation of ratio, proportion, percentage, surfaces, volumes, weights and measures
- Effectively communicate verbally with co-workers
- Effectively manage one's time and deal with problems that arise
- Effectively work with other employees in a positive manner
- Leadership/motivation skills
- Willingness and ability to gain knowledge of and consistently practice basic OSHA regulations
- Able to think outside the box (makes timely decisions)
- Able to attend to job duties on a consistent, timely basis
