This Metrology Engineer will work as a subject matter expert in metrology systems and be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and precision of measurement systems and instruments used in our manufacturing processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 4+ years of experience with a thorough understanding of GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing)
- Preferred Machining background or experience in the machining industry
- Advanced Proficiency and experience in CMM Programming, troubleshooting, and validating CMM with PCDMIS/ Calypso/Camio
- Knowledge of mechanical inspection methods and tools used to determine product acceptance with accuracy and precision
- Proficient in set-up and operation of inspection equipment, and metrology methods/technology
- Experience with statistical analysis and quality control methodologies
- Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 standards
- Training or experience in the knowledge and application of PPAP, FMEA, Lean/Six Sigma, ISO-9001/14001, IATF 16949, GD&T, Capability Analysis, Corrective Action Tools, Design for Manufacturability, and Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, Word), Power Automate and Power Bi
