Deerfield Academy, a private coeducational boarding school, seeks a French Teacher with a start date in July 2026. The teacher will be responsible for teaching four sections of French and leading co-curricular activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
- Experience teaching proficiency-oriented French classes
- Highly fluent in French
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Canvas Learning Management System, and other basic classroom technologies
- Interest in and demonstrated skill working with adolescents
- Demonstrated multicultural competency and commitment to inclusivity
- Excitement for continued professional growth
- Enthusiasm for developing and aligning shared approaches to student learning
