Investment Banking Associate, Diversified Industrials

D.A. Davidson & Co. is accepting applicants for an Associate position in the Diversified Industrials Investment Banking Group. The Associate will play a vital role working with senior bankers on strategic assignments, assisting clients with mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, private placements and other advisory services.

Requirements

• 2 years minimum professional experience working in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, etc.
• Transaction experience in the Aerospace & Defense or Government Services industry preferred
• Bachelor’s degree
• Highly motivated, confident, professional, and coachable
• Proficiency with Capital IQ, PitchBook or Tableau
• Advanced knowledge of business software (especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Strong knowledge of financial modeling, corporate finance and accounting
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills including business writing
• Able to handle multiple projects with competing priorities
• Strong work ethic and team oriented approach
• Good judgment in confidential situations and ability to exercise discretion
• High degree of comfort and confidence interacting with senior executives
• Ability to train and provide mentorship to analysts and interns
• Flexibility to work long hours, nights, and weekends, as needed
• Securities Industry Essentials Exam, Series 79 (Series 7 may be applicable) and 63 licenses preferred but not required
