Job Description
Cyngn is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to develop and maintain its cloud-based SaaS platform, focused on autonomous industrial vehicle fleet management. The role involves designing, implementing, deploying, and maintaining a robust system enabling real-time control and monitoring of autonomous vehicles. They emphasize a collaborative, innovative team and a focus on impactful, visible contributions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software development experience
- Strong focus on backend systems and distributed architectures
- Extensive experience in building and scaling cloud-native SaaS platforms
- Expert-level proficiency in at least one of Python, Go, Java, or C++
- Deep understanding of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Proven experience with event-driven architectures and message queuing systems
- Strong background in database design and optimization
- Proficiency in developing scalable WebSocket-based real-time communication systems
- Expertise in developing real-time data processing pipelines and analytics systems
- Proficiency with containerization and orchestration technologies
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD practices
- Track record of leading development teams and mentoring junior developers
