Job Description
Curtiss-Wright Peerless Instrument is seeking a Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer to manage and resolve supplier quality issues, improve quality levels, and ensure product quality and on-time deliveries. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in the defense industry, with a strong background in quality auditing and ability to drive improvement of supplier's quality performance.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in the defense industry
- Strong background in quality auditing
- Ability to drive improvement of supplier's quality performance
- Experience with Statistical Process Control, LEAN, and Six Sigma
- ASQ Certification such as Certified Supplier Quality Professional, or Certified Six Sigma Green/Black Belt
- Ability to read and understand electrical, mechanical drawings, specifications, Bills of Materials, etc.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in written form
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Power Point
