Job Description
Curtis School is seeking a 6th Grade Spanish Teacher to join a team-oriented, inclusive, and professional learning community. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching elementary school-aged children and the Spanish language, and will be responsible for engaging and inspiring students to learn about diverse Spanish-speaking cultures.
Requirements
- Native or near-native fluency in Spanish
- Bachelor's degree (master's degree and teaching credential preferred)
- 3-5 years' teaching experience
- Knowledge of language pedagogy and research
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with students, colleagues, and parents
- Flexibility about working in outdoor weather conditions and ability to regularly sit, stand, walk, use hands, reach with arms, talk and hear, and occasionally lift up to 10-25 pounds
