Accountant III prepares monthly financial statements, communicates with stakeholders, and leads internal and external audits. Creates account reconciliations, variance analysis, and flux analysis. Evaluates processes for improvements and presents financial results to business unit leaders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Five years experience in accounting
- Knowledge of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Knowledge of utility accounting preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills – oral and written
- Ability to analyze and develop solutions to complex problems
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and build strong partnerships
- CPA Preferred
