Job Description
Crum & Forster Company is seeking a Senior/Executive Underwriter in the Middle Market Solutions team in Southeast, Southcentral, or Western US to lead production underwriting for commercial lines insurance. The role involves building broker relationships, analyzing data, and managing underwriting processes. This position requires strong collaboration and ownership of agency relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of underwriting experience
- Strong underwriting knowledge of Property, General Liability, Automobile, Umbrella, and Workers’ Compensation
- Knowledge of Manufacturing, Retail, Wholesale, Hospitality and other general industry risks
- Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, Reference Connect & ImageRight software
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Valid driver's license
