Producer, News & Politics

Crooked Media is looking for an LA-based Producer on the Programming department to work on our flagship show, Pod Save America.

Requirements

• 5+ years of news, radio, podcast, or TV production experience
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Strong editorial judgment about the news that matters
• Ability to juggle multiple projects at once and willing to work flexible hours, under tight deadline pressure, including breaking news
• Understanding of journalism and journalistic ethics
• A passion for and day-to-day interest in politics
• A curious and collaborative approach
• A self-motivated, proactive, scrappy, creative, accountable and kind attitude
• Proficiency with ProTools, Adobe Audition, Descript, or other audio editing software
