Databricks Architect

We are looking for a Senior Data Architect with deep experience in Databricks for our client in the USA. The client has a steady demand for specialists and is currently seeking one or two people to take on architectural and supervisory tasks within two different projects.

Requirements

• Expert experience (8+ years) in the role of Data Architect and Data Engineer or related roles, particularly in transformational and migration projects.
• Expert knowledge of the Databricks platform (architecture, multi-workspace, clusters, security) and Apache Spark (PySpark, query optimization).
• Practical experience with Delta Lake and knowledge of data management concepts, including Unity Catalog and access control deployments.
• Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform in the context of cloud infrastructure management and Databricks (auditability, repeatability).
• Good knowledge of cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure (ADLS, networking).
• Excellent knowledge of Python and its applications in Data Engineering.
• Ability to take initiative, independence, and technical decision-making leadership.
• English at level C1 (fluent communication) enabling smooth communication in the team.
